PBS - Introducing "Wes"

Meet Wes – Our New School Mascot! 🎉

What an exciting day we had at Westminster Education Support and Primary School last Wednesday! We officially welcomed our brand new school mascot, Wes the red-tailed black cockatoo, during a special reveal assembly – and it was a celebration to remember!

Wes is neurodiverse, just like many of our students, and he helps us celebrate the unique strengths and superpowers that come with thinking and learning differently. 🧠💫

Our lucky VIP ticket holders, who found feathers during the whole school feather hunt, were treated to front-row seats, popcorn, and a special gift as they enjoyed the big reveal. The event was buzzing with music, cheers, and excitement as Wes made his grand entrance!

After the show, our VIP students got an exclusive meet-and-greet with Wes and even snapped some fun photos to remember the day.

We can’t wait to see Wes again soon at upcoming school and community events – he’s already part of the Westminster family! ❤️
