Warm Welcome to New Families

school have been enjoyable and that you have already begun to feel at home within our community.
Welcome Back, Existing Staff and Students. To our returning staff and students, it's been a joy to see everyone settling back into routines and making the most of our new facilities. Your enthusiasm and dedication are what make our school such a special place.
Exciting New Facilities
Speaking of which, our school is now equipped with fantastic new facilities, including:
• New classrooms
• Independent Living Centre
• Sensory rooms
• Therapy rooms
These facilities will provide invaluable resources and support to our students as they learn and grow.
Upcoming Swimming Program
A reminder that swimming lessons for lower years (Years 1 - 3) will take place in weeks 7 and 8 of
this term. More information will be provided soon.
Parking Reminder
Please remember to be mindful of parking constraints when dropping off and picking up your

please make arrangements to do so at your earliest convenience. We are committed to working with
you to create tailored plans that meet the diverse needs of our students.

Lastly, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting an open day in the coming weeks, giving
all families the opportunity to explore our beautiful new facilities. Stay tuned for more information!
Here's to a fantastic year ahead filled with growth, learning, and community spirit.

News from Koorlangka 3
What a fabulous and fun start to 2024 for our wonderful new Kindy and Pre-Primary students.
They have already shown some excellent skills in learning our unpacking routine in the morning and then starting to check their daily schedule for what comes next. They are sitting for morning circle, learning to line up as a class for recess and lunch routines where they sit with others and starting to pack
away their own lunchboxes and get their hat for outdoor play. They have had some exciting and interactive glitter ice play during this very hot start to the year. They are enjoying coming together with other Westminster Primary School students in the playground and playing with all the amazing toys and equipment. They have already participated in many activities involving name recognition posting and decorating tasks, cutting, painting, glueing, threading, building, collaging and engaging in lots of communication and play using our various supports including the expertise of our warm and expert staff.
We are looking forward to getting to know them more over the term and seeing all of their wonderful learning and progress. We are really enjoying getting to know each and every one of our beautiful early childhood students.
Christine Bloomfield, Amishi Kanakia (Teachers) and the ESC support staff.
